Project Description
I was asked as freelancer to work along side another 3d artist on the latest easter promo for the sky movies creative team. I was given a just over 3 weeks to complete this project. my role on the project was to model, animate, texture , light and render the popcorn. one of the problems i faced was creating the popcorn kernels to pop in slow motion, i over came this by making a series of morph targets which i then blended between these shapes to create the over all animation, the dynamics on this sequence was done by one of BskyB’s creative team.
